But did you also know that that this multi-talented individual is also an amazing quilter? For the first time, Harvey's quilts will be on display for three days as part of the exhibition, "You Made That?": The Quilting Adventures of Harvey Fierstein, in Ridgefield, Connecticut. Come and see his fantastic quilts and catch a glimpse of his creative prowess. (reception + ticket $125, exhibit alone $20)
From Harvey Fierstein:
"Folks have asked when they could see my quilts in person - The answer is.... July 24th, 25th, 26th and 27th in the beautiful town of Ridgefield CT. Plan a day trip and come see a whole bunch of my king-sized creations and more. Cotton Candy Fabrics will have a pop-up shop of fabrics and threads and we will even be raffling off one of the quilts. So... come to town and enjoy."
