SCtMQG Guild Meeting October 10, 2026

Thank you to everyone for all the amazing Fall Retreat Donations, support and setup.    Our 9th year was another great success.  Consensus would like the same location next year.

PLEASE: Program committee needs your input via emailed Survey to provide future guidance.  Help them help you:  see the link below.

The survey   https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSfIqQzisA4AfKoCNa5qEviHRm3ZDbvzW_rBHKYLAK71b0Su5A/viewform?usp=dialog

Members suggested several names for the Guild’s Quilt Con competition project.   Our blue quilt is named “Wild Blue Meander.”

Have you signed up for & chosen your pincushion design for December Potluck?

We welcome new members:  Brigit, Totny, and Margarie

AS WELL AS, Jen & Andrew not called out previously.  Mea Culpa!

If you have not filled out a membership questionnaire, please see Toni Sands or Wendy Frieden to make sure your important details will be captured.  Also, we need an accurate membership count to pay our proper dues to National.  National membership is included with Guild Membership.

The Membership Roster has been rearranged by listing members by first names (instead of surnames).

We made and donated 77 Sew Powerful bags in Sept with personal notes for the recipients, along with $70 in donations.   In November, we will see who wins in the competitions.   Thank you all for your generosity in time and fabric, for writing personal notes to recipients and for financial support.

Leadership for 2027 Guild has a few holes; we need a member to volunteer to be Vice President (I think I can say that support will be available).  Three committees & 1 activity have new members:

o   Toni Sand with Joyce will manage Membership.

o   Jen & Brigit take point for Charity with Susanne in an advisory role.

o   Stef will lead the Fall Retreat team including Michele, and Darlene.  Brenda is stepping back from Fall Retreat into an advisory role after 9 years of running it.  Many thanks, Brenda.

o Sit and Stitch NEEDS some members to over see each meeting. please contact Suzanne McGovern or Any Board member if you are interested.
