Let’s celebrate through the theme Quilting Out Loud. Share a new piece or one from the past that expresses time, events, humor, and history, literally or metaphorically. i.e. 250 yr. US Celebration, points in your personal history, capturing a place or person. Quilts are an expression of the person and how they capture and display art through creative process and inspiration. We are looking to fill the grounds with color and design to expand awareness of quilting and how quilts can reflect the time in which they were created and expand the vision of quilting and the skill it develops..
This show does not limit your participation to just quilts for beds. You may provide table covers, quilts of any size, postcards, runners, banners, wall hangings, UFOs…
Important Dates to know:
• Exhibition Dates: July 30- August 2.
All days open from 10:00 am – 4:00 pm
• Deadline to register to participate: July 20, 2025
• Quilt Drop-off deadline to Kellogg: July 27, 2025
• Close of show- Quilters Program and pick up on August 2nd at 4:00 pm
• Quilters Program Sunday August 2nd, 2:30 pm – 4:00 pm
Curating Family Stories, by Tammy Williams. Professional Storyteller Tammy will explain the stories
preserved in the family quilts she now curates and the “hidden women” who created them. She is a non-quilter who is experiencing the craft through the special objects she now protects.
