Paint Chip Challenge

The Challenge:

You should have received an envelope with paint chips exemplifying one of the color plans. Using the color plan in your paint chip envelope you will design and complete a mini quilt with perimeters between 18” -36”. It does not have to be square.

You may use fabrics of the exact colors in your envelope and/or hues/tones of them. The fabrics can be solids, prints and/or tonals. You may only add black, white, or tan.

This is to be a 3-layer quilt. Top, batting and backing, completed with quilting and some variety of binding or facing of your choice. If you would like you may put a hanging sleeve or hanging tabs.

The finished quilt is due at the July 2025 guild meeting. Keep in mind that this will be a good size quilt to enter into the Westport library show in January 2026 or the Pop of Color Show in July. Be creative!t!

Due: Saturday, July 12th Guild Meeting
